Bruce Springsteen’s “Letter to You” Trailer Brings the Boss to Apple TV + This October

The Boss is back, and he’s bringing the band with him this time. 80’s Massive Record breaker singer Bruce Springsteen will release his 20th studio album, called “Letter to You”. And, to accompany the newest production from one of the greatest musicians, Apple TV + will release a musical documentary on the same day as the release of the Boss album of the same name, on October 23, 2020.

The new trailer features scenes from the documentary, which will be entirely in black and white, combining archival footage with unpublished footage from Springsteen and his support band E Street Band while recording this upcoming album.

The idea of the documentary is also to celebrate his long-standing collaboration that Springsteen has had with the band. Springsteen describes the production as “a love letter to the E Street Band”, which has played with him since 1972. Watch the trailer below!

“Letter to You” is Produced by Apple Original Films, Written by himself and directed by his frequent collaborator Thom Zimn.

Bruce Springsteen began his music career in the 1960s after watching The Beatles play on Ed Sullivan. From there, he played in bands around New Jersey before hooking up with future members of the E Street Band. His big break came in 1975 with the release of Born to Run. From there, Springsteen was unstoppable as the hits were retained after more releases, with the band by his side for the ride.
